Terms of Service
Effective date: May 15, 2026 · dartic.io
1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Dartic service, made available at dartic.io ("Service"). By accessing, registering an account or using the Service, you ("User") declare that you have read, understood and fully accepted these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with any provision, the User must immediately cease use of the Service.
2. Description of the Service
Dartic is an open data lake that makes public Brazilian capital markets data available — including data from CVM (Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission), the National Treasury, BCB (Central Bank of Brazil) and FundosNet — for SQL querying directly in the browser. The Service is 100% free, offered solely for educational and informational purposes, with no paid tier, commercial plan or monetization.
The full list of sources, licenses and attributions is available at /en/sources-and-attributions.
3. Account types
All access to the Service is 100% free and intended for educational, academic and informational use. There is no, and there is no plan for, any paid plan, subscription, charge or commercial offering.
- Anonymous access: SQL queries in the browser subject to rate limits and fair-use limits.
- Authenticated access: allows saving queries, favorites and history; also free, with the same fair-use limits. No contractual SLA.
4. Acceptable use
The User agrees not to:
- make automated requests at abusive volumes (aggressive scraping) or that compromise the availability of the Service for other users;
- resell, sublicense or redistribute the data as a commercial product without authorization from the original sources, observing the licenses listed at /en/sources-and-attributions;
- redistribute data without preserving attribution to the original sources (CVM, BCB, National Treasury, FundosNet);
- use the Service for unlawful purposes, including market manipulation, insider trading or any practice forbidden by the CVM or by Brazilian law;
- attempt to circumvent authentication, rate limit, security or auditing mechanisms;
- use reverse engineering, decompilation or other means to extract the source code of the Dartic interface.
5. Intellectual property
The interface, source code of the web application, design system, trademarks, logos and proprietary tooling of Dartic are protected by copyright and intellectual property rights.
The data redistributed by Dartic remains governed by the licenses of its original sources. Dartic does not claim ownership over third-party data, only over its aggregation, normalization and technical availability. See the sources and attributions page.
6. No financial advice
The content made available by Dartic is for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing here constitutes an investment recommendation, financial advice, securities analysis, an offer to buy or sell, or any form of personalized guidance.
Dartic is not registered as a securities analyst or as an investment advisor. Investment decisions are the exclusive responsibility of the User, who should consult professionals registered with the CVM before trading.
The data may contain errors, delays or divergences relative to the official sources. For definitive information, always consult the original source.
7. Service availability
The Service is offered on a best-effort basis and has no contractual SLA for availability, latency or data freshness. Because it is a 100% free, educational service, scheduled or emergency maintenance may occur without prior notice.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dartic shall not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential damages or lost profits arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Service, including financial losses related to investment decisions based on data made available here.
9. Account and termination
The User may request deletion of the account at any time by sending an email to dodpit@outlook.com. After the request, there is a 180-day grace period during which the account is deactivated and may be reactivated; after this period, personal data is permanently erased (hard delete), preserving only the legal retention obligations described in the Privacy Policy.
Dartic may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
10. Changes
These Terms may be updated periodically. The then-current version will always be available at dartic.io/en/terms-of-service, identified by the effective date. Material changes will be communicated with reasonable advance notice.
11. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by Brazilian law, in particular by the Brazilian Civil Rights Framework for the Internet (Marco Civil, Federal Law No. 12,965/2014), the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Federal Law No. 13,709/2018) and the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code (when applicable).
The venue of the judicial district of São Paulo/SP (Brazilian state of São Paulo) is hereby elected to settle any controversies arising from these Terms, waiving any other, however privileged it may be.
12. Contact
Questions, requests or communications relating to these Terms may be sent to dodpit@outlook.com.
